
The categories for which funds can be spent under the National Cashback and Winter Thousand programmes have changed«
The Ministry of Social Policy has updated the rules for the use of funds under the programmes «National cashback» and «Winter Thousand». From now on, participants will not be able to use the funds to top up their mobile phones, pay for the Internet or purchase cinema and train tickets.
What is now allowed to spend money on
The government has defined a new list of categories to which payments can be allocated. Among them:
payment utilities and services of postal operators;
purchases foodstuffs in shops and supermarkets;
acquisition medicines, books and printed materials;
realisation charitable contributions.
The Ministry of Social Policy explained that these changes are aimed at supporting critical areas of consumption and social initiatives.

First payments under the programme «Winter support» have already been received:
1.7 million adults
253 thousand children
This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko. In total, more than 10 million Ukrainians applied for UAH 1,000.
