It became known who will participate in the National Selection for Eurovision 2026
The organisers of the National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2026 has published the full list of artists who will compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the international competition this year. The voting and the final of the National Selection will traditionally take place in February 2026.
The format of the selection remains unchanged - the finalists will be selected by a professional commission and the audience.
Who is included in the longlist
The published longlist includes 16 performers and bands. Among them are both new names on the Ukrainian stage and artists who are already known to a wide audience.
The promotional photo released by the organisers shows all the participants of the longlist who are applying to participate in the final stage of the National Selection.
Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna
The international competition will be held in Vienna. The dates have already been confirmed:
12 May - first semi-final
14 May - second semi-final
16 May - grand final
The Ukrainian representative will be selected by a mixed system: professional jury + audience voting.
Context.
Ukraine remains one of the most successful countries in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, having won three times and consistently reaching the top of the voting results. This year's competition is expected to be tough as well.
