A powerful fire in Feodosia: Drones attacked the occupiers' oil depot
On the night of 13 October, in temporarily occupied Feodosia a series of explosions occurred. According to preliminary reports, Kamikaze drones attacked an oil depot, which was used by Russian troops to store fuel.
Local residents report powerful flames and black smoke, that rose tens of metres in height. The fire could be seen even from the surrounding settlements.
Reaction of the occupation authorities
The occupation administration has traditionally claimed that «air defence works», but numerous videos from the scene show that Direct hit to an infrastructure facility.
Oil depot, according to intelligence, was one of the key fuel supply hubs for military units in the south of Crimea.
The fire could not be extinguished for a long time, as the flames engulfed a large area of the industrial zone.
Context.
This is already second large-scale attack on an oil depot in Crimea in recent weeks. Earlier, similar strikes were recorded in Sevastopol and Dzhankoy.
Such facilities remain priority targets for Ukrainian forces, as they provide logistics and fuel and lubrication resources to the Russian army.
