Orban accuses the EU of a «war course»

Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban said. Europe is approaching war, and the Brussels Defence Plan allegedly «draws the continent into a conflict against Russia».
In his address to the citizens, he announced a campaign to collect signatures against the EU's involvement in financing Ukraine's defence.

«A few weeks ago, the Brussels War Plan was presented in Copenhagen: Europe pays, Ukrainians fight, and Russia will be exhausted. We do not know how much it costs and how long it will last,» Orban said.

Orban has started national petition, in which it calls on Hungarians to speak out against increasing EU defence spending and further aid to Ukraine.
The Hungarian government has repeatedly blocked EU initiatives related to Allocation of funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, explaining it by «protecting national interests».
