Explosion on a train in Ovruch: five people killed
In the city Ovruch (Zhytomyr region) a man detonated a grenade on a suburban train while being detained by law enforcement.
According to preliminary data, five people were killed, more two sustained injuries of varying severity.
The incident took place on 24 October. Eyewitnesses reported that the explosion occurred directly in the train carriage.
«During the arrest, the man took out a grenade and detonated it right on the train. There are dead and wounded,» witnesses of the incident told Korosten.today.
Police confirmed the incident
The police in Zhytomyr region confirmed the explosion.
Currently law enforcement officers, explosive experts and medics are working at the scene. The area near the railway station is closed.
«All the circumstances of the tragedy are being established. Explosives experts are working at the scene,» the regional police press service said.

According to unconfirmed reports, the victims were passengers on the train, including the attacker himself.
