
Zelensky: all non-critical enterprises should leave employees at home due to bad weather
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. all non-critical enterprises should transfer employees to stay at home due to deteriorating weather conditions. According to him, the government and local authorities are already preparing a relevant decision.
The Head of State emphasised that such a step was necessary to reduce the burden on the transport system, energy and emergency services, as well as for the safety of citizens.

According to Zelensky, the restrictions will apply to enterprises and institutions that do not belong to critical infrastructure. This means temporarily transferring staff to a remote format or suspending work during difficult weather conditions.
It is expected that:
local authorities will receive official recommendations on how to implement the regime;
employers must arrange remote work or leave with the consent of employees;
The priority will be given to the uninterrupted operation of the energy, healthcare, transport, communications and security sectors.
