Ukrainian teachers will receive UAH 1,500 for training

The state will finance teacher development

Every Ukrainian teacher will receive UAH 1,500 on virtual account for advanced training 🤔
This was stated by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, presented a new government programme to support educators.

«We create an opportunity for each teacher to choose the direction of development - from digital literacy to foreign languages.
The funds can be used for any training courses that meet the professional goals of the teacher,» Svyrydenko said.

How the programme will work

The funding will go to personal virtual accounts within the state system «Diia».
Educators will be able to choose accredited online courses, webinars or trainings on their own.
The programme is expected to benefit more than 400 thousand teachers across Ukraine.

The aim of the initiative is to improving the quality of education and motivation of teachers for continuous professional development.
