Kharkiv Mayor: Ukraine needs centenary security guarantees
Ukraine needs to long-term security guarantees, whose validity will be measured by not for years, but for at least a century, Kharkiv mayor and head of the Association of Frontline Cities and Communities said. Igor Terekhov in a commentary for the American edition New York Post.
According to the mayor, Ukrainians want peace, but its stability requires real and lasting security guarantees from the US and its allies.
«We need security guarantees not for 2027 or two years after that, but for at least a century,» Terekhov said.
