Ukraine and Romania have concluded a number of important agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in energy, defence production and strategic partnership. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
New agreements to strengthen cooperation
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the signed documents open up new opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial projects. Particular attention was paid to energy security and the modernisation of defence enterprises.
Energy as a priority
The agreements provide for cooperation in energy supplies and joint investments in renewable energy sources. Ukraine and Romania plan to implement several projects aimed at diversifying energy routes and reducing dependence on other suppliers.
Defence production and strategic partnerships
In addition, the parties agreed to Joint production of military equipment and technology exchange. This should enhance the defence capabilities of both countries and strengthen regional security. The strategic partnership also includes information exchange and coordination on international issues.
The signing of the agreements is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations and will contribute to stability in the region. Ukraine and Romania will continue to develop cooperation in key areas to ensure common development and security.
