Earthquake in Afghanistan kills at least 20 people

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 has struck Afghanistan, reports Al Jazeera. According to preliminary data, at least 20 people, still about 320 people were injured.

Areas near the city were most affected Mazhari-Sharif. The damaged buildings include the famous The Blue Mosque, one of the most famous historical monuments in the country.

The tremors were felt outside the country

Earthquake caused vibrations felt by residents Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Local authorities report partial destruction of buildings and power outages in several settlements.
