NEURC member Serhiy Pushkar leaves Ukraine after the «tapes» scandal»
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that a member of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) Sergey Pushkar left the territory of Ukraine tonight.
According to the MP, it was Pushkar who appeared on the tapes discussing a «salary» of $20,000 (more precisely, $19,900), which he allegedly received from a businessman Timur Mindich.
The information about the escape came amid a corruption investigation in the energy sector that has already affected a number of senior officials and representatives of the company «Energoatom».
Career path
Prior to his appointment to the September 2025 for the position of a member of the NEURC Pushkar served as Executive Director for Legal Affairs at Energoatom (2022-2025).
Earlier, in 2010-2015, He worked in the The State Property Fund of Ukraine, where at that time the deputy chairman was Igor Mironyuk - counsellor Andrii Derkach and Herman Galushchenko, known from the «films» as «Rocket» «energy watchdog from Mindich.
