31st Ramstein: Ukraine to receive over $1.1bn in aid from allies

Over $1.1 billion in new support for Ukraine

Minister of Defence of Ukraine announced the results of the 31st meeting Ukrainian Defence Contact Group (UDCG), which took place on 15 October.
The total amount of the announced aid is at least $1.14 billion, of which $718 million for procurement from the Ukrainian defence industry.

«More than half of NATO Allies have already made or pledged contributions to the PURL initiative. New pledges of another €$422 million», the minister said.


New contributions to the PURL initiative

Initiative PURL (Procurement and Urgent Requirements List) provides for rapid financing of arms purchases for Ukraine.
New contributions to the PURL are as follows at least $422 million, The majority of donors are NATO countries.


Purchases from the Ukrainian industry - $718 million

The partners continue to order weapons directly from Ukrainian manufacturers, This strengthens the resilience of the defence economy:

  • Norway - $600 million for the production of UAVs, electronic warfare systems and explosives.

  • Netherlands - $106 million for attack and reconnaissance drones.

  • Canada - $8 million for interceptor drones.

  • Iceland - $4 million under the Danish model.


New military assistance from the Allies

Partner countries have also confirmed individual military support packages:

  • Sweden - $8 billion for security assistance in 2026-2027.

  • Czech Republic - a new package for $72 million.

  • Canada - $20 million for winter gear and components for missiles.

  • Portugal - $12 million to the British IFU fund.

  • Finland - cooks 13th aid package.


Supporting production in Ukraine

The Ramstein meeting also discussed Scaling up joint weapons production - including drones, electronic warfare systems and ammunition.
According to the participants, the key areas of focus are Development of Ukrainian defence capabilities in line with NATO standards.
