
The user's photo will appear in Reserve+: Ministry of Defence launches testing of updated document
The Ministry of Defence has announced the start of testing of the new application functionality Reserve+., which will now display photo of the holder of the military registration document. The update is aimed at improving the accuracy of citizen identification during document checks in public places.
Why you need it
The Ministry of Defence explained that adding a photo will help avoid misunderstandings and speed up the identity verification process.
Previously, the document in Reserve+ contained only basic data, so additional paper documents had to be shown during inspections.
New design and expanded capabilities
Along with the user's photo, the following has been updated appearance of a digital document. The developers have added new elements that make it easier to read data and make the interface clearer.
Other features are also being prepared to provide more transparent identity verification and faster access to information required during service or mobilisation procedures.
Testing stage
The feature is currently available in test mode for a limited group of users. Once the stability check is completed, the update will be available to all persons liable for military service.
