Russia has forcibly mobilised 46,327 Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories. This was announced by the Secretary of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War Dmitry Usov.
According to him, the figures have been confirmed by the Russian side, and the mobilisation does not stop.
Geography of mobilisation
According to the Coordination Headquarters, the mobilised Ukrainians come from:
More than 5,000 in Donetsk region,
Luhansk region - more than 4,500,
Crimea - more than 35,000,
Zaporizhzhya region - 560,
Kherson region - 478.
«This is the number that is fighting against us,» Usov said.
Context.
The occupation administrations continue to forcibly recruit men to the TOT, despite international norms and the prohibition of recruiting the population of the occupied territories to serve in the occupier's army. Along with mobilisation, there are cases of men being forcibly transferred to Russia.
