Attack on Chernihiv region
On the morning of 28 October, Russian troops launched another drone attack in Chernihiv region.
According to the head of the city military administration Alexander Bryzhinsky, One of the “shaheds” fell right in the centre of Chernihiv. The city recorded serious interruptions in mobile communications, Damage to residential and administrative buildings was reported.
Damage in the districts
As a result of shelling several districts of the region were affected:
Koryukivka district: a fire broke out as a result of a hit to the infrastructure facility.
Novgorod-Siverskyi district: an administrative building was destroyed, a woman was injured.
Rescue services are working at the sites of the attacks, and the aftermath of the attacks is being dealt with.
Official warning
Local authorities are urging residents of the region to stay in shelters during the air raid and not to approach the sites of the hits.
