Russian night attack: Ukraine shoots down 128 of 154 kamikaze drones
On the night of 26 September 2025 Russian troops carry out a massive launch 154 attack drones Shahed, Gerber and other types. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The air defence forces, together with aviation, electronic warfare systems and mobile fire groups, neutralised 128 drones.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the hit occurred at 9 locations, and debris was also recorded falling in in one place.
The attacks were carried out from the territory of Russia - from the directions of Bryansk, Orel and Millerovo.
Consequences and reactions
Civilian casualties at the moment do not report.
Emergency services continue to work in Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of the strikes, and local administrations are urging citizens to be cautious during air raids.
Last night's attack on Ukraine is part of Russia's systematic strategy of using drones in its missile and drone campaign against Ukraine's defence and civilian infrastructure.
