Drone attacks on the railway near the border are becoming regular
In the Sumy region, near Chernoplatovo village, recorded Russian “Shahed” kamikaze drones strike at a railway train.
According to open sources, Drones hit a locomotive, which was located near the border area.
Attacks become systemic
In recent weeks, Russia is actively attacking the railway infrastructure of Ukraine's border regions, using guided drones.
Objective. destabilise the logistics supporting military and humanitarian transport in the frontline areas.
“The enemy is trying to systematically disable critical transport hubs. These are not isolated incidents, but an element of a new tactic,” Ukrainian military analysts say.
Reaction.
There is no official data on the victims.
The State Emergency Service and representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia are checking the extent of the damage, and train traffic in the direction of Sumy is temporarily restricted.
Analysts believe that such strikes indicate Russia's attempts to disrupt the stability of transport routes in the border regions.
