According to the unit «Aratta of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Russia Expands Engels-2 airbase on a large scale«, located in the Saratov region.
In the northern part of the base, the following works are underway construction works - concrete is being poured and 12 new car parks are being prepared for strategic aircraft Tu-95MS, Tu-160, as well as frontline bombers Su-34 and fighter jets Su-35.
