Zelenskyy: Russia lost 12,000 troops in Dobropillya operation

Zelenskyy also said that he had already agreed a number of asymmetric actions for the Service in response to Russian aggression.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian army had lost more than 12,000 servicemen during the Dobropillia operation, 7,200 of them irretrievably.


Enemy losses during the operation

In his address, the President of Ukraine noted the scale of losses of Russian troops in the Donetsk region:

«During the Dobropillia operation, Russia lost more than 12,000 servicemen, 7,200 of them irretrievably,» Zelensky said.

According to him, Ukrainian forces continue to active actions in key areas, causing the enemy significant losses in manpower and equipment.


Ukraine's asymmetric responses

The President also said that agreed new operational plans for the Ukrainian special services:

«Regarding our operations, I have agreed with the Service on some plans that are asymmetrical to our response to the Russian war» Zelensky stressed.

Although the details of these transactions are not disclosed, it is expected that they will increase pressure on the enemy and demonstrate the flexibility of Ukraine's defence strategy.
