
Russia massively attacks Odesa region: six people injured, including three children
On the night of 31 December, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Odesa region, striking at residential, logistics and energy infrastructure. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Details of the attack
As a result of the hits to one of the residential buildings, a fire broke out in the apartments on the second to sixth floors. The facade on the fifth and sixth floors was partially destroyed. Rescuers extinguished the fire and evacuated the residents.
Firefighters rescued eight people, including one child. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and National Police of Ukraine. Mobile resilience stations were also deployed by the State Emergency Service and the city council.
Consequences.
According to preliminary information, six people were injured, including three children. In addition, the facades and glazing of several multi-storey residential buildings were damaged. Civilian cars were destroyed and damaged by the fire.
