Russian Federation strikes at TV tower in the centre of Chernihiv
On the evening of 29 October, Russian troops attacked a TV tower in the centre of Chernihiv.
According to local authorities, the explosion caused a fire and temporarily interrupted the operation of equipment that provided television and mobile communications. Emergency services, utilities and power companies are working at the site.
Preliminary, no one was killed. There are interruptions in communication and television signals in several areas of the city.
The attack on the TV tower was yet another case of Russia's targeted shelling of Ukraine's information infrastructure.
