Rutte: war in Ukraine could end by the end of 2025
NATO Secretary General Mark Rütte said that the war in Ukraine may be completed by the end of December 2025. He made this forecast during one of his public speeches.
At the same time, Rutte stressed that achieving peace depends on a number of conditions, the main of which are Continuation and intensification of the negotiation process.
«The negotiations must continue. Without this, it is premature to talk about the end of the war,» he said.
His comment was another signal of the West's increased diplomatic activity amid discussions of updated US peace proposals and consultations between Kyiv, Washington and European capitals.
