Fire starts after drone strikes oil refinery
On the night of Saturday drones of the Security Service of Ukraine an oil refinery was attacked «Bashneft-UNPF», which is located in the Russian region of Bashkortostan, has more than 1400 km from the Ukrainian border.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the attack a fire broke out at the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil processing unit.
«SBU drones hit key elements of the technological cycle. A large fire was observed on the territory of the plant,» intelligence sources said.

Local residents reported explosions and strong flames, which was visible several kilometres away from the plant.
Russian Telegram channels confirmed the fact fires at an industrial facility, However, they traditionally did not specify its cause.
«According to preliminary data, the fire occurred in the area of the ELOU-AVT-6 unit. Dozens of fire brigades have arrived at the scene,» local resources in Bashkortostan report.
Strategic importance of the facility
«Bashneft-UNPZ is part of an oil company «Bashneft», which is part of the «Rosneft».
The company provides refining over 6 million tonnes of oil per year and is one of the key elements of the Urals' fuel infrastructure.
Analysts note that strikes on remote Russian refineries reduce Moscow's ability to supply the domestic market and military logistics with fuel.
A series of attacks on Russian oil refineries
The attack on Bashneft was another in a series of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries, located far beyond the frontline.
Earlier, SBU and GUR drones successfully hit targets in Tatarstan, Ryazan, Samara and Leningrad regions.
