SBU denies information about preparation of suspicions against Arakhamia and SAPO head Klymenko
The Security Service of Ukraine stated that do not prepare suspicions the head of the Servant of the People faction« David Arahamia and the head of the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Oleksandr Klymenko. This was reported by the SBU in a commentary to Suspilne.
The agency stressed that it had not received any instructions or hints from the President's Office or any other government agencies in this regard.
«The SBU has not received any such “instructions”, “requests” or “hints” from the President's Office or any other structure. Moreover, according to the law, SBU investigators can't to notify current MPs of suspicion,» the SBU said.

Earlier, a number of media outlets published materials claiming that the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak allegedly instructed the SBU and other bodies to prepare suspicions:
to the head of the SAPO Oleksandr Klymenko;
head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction« David Arahamia.
These publications caused a wide response in the political environment.

The Security Service categorically denied these allegations and called the information false. The agency stressed that any criminal procedural decisions regarding MPs are made in accordance with a clearly defined procedure and cannot be initiated by the SBU on its own.
