Details of the night attack
The attack took place on the night of 22 October. The air raid lasted for over an hour as air defence forces targeted enemy drones.

Local communities report explosions and fires on an industrial site. Firefighters continue to eliminate the consequences.
The enemy is targeting the energy system
This is not the first attack on energy and fuel facilities in Poltava region. Russia is systematically trying to disrupt the infrastructure that ensures the extraction, transportation and processing of energy resources.
According to military analysts, the purpose of such strikes is to undermine Ukraine's energy resilience before the winter season and complicate the work of critical industries.
Government response

«Any publication can help the enemy adjust their fire. Thank you all for your understanding.».
It is also noted that rescue and energy services are already on the ground - electricity and gas supply will be restored after the consequences are contained.
