Massive shelling of Kherson: dozens of houses left destroyed
On the morning of 26 September, Russian troops shelled residential areas of Kherson. According to preliminary data from the city authorities, the following were damaged 70 private houses and one apartment block.
The shells hit different areas of the city, causing damage to roofs, windows and facades. Some streets were left without electricity.
«The enemy is deliberately hitting residential areas, endangering civilians. Utility services are already working to eliminate the consequences,» the Kherson Regional Military Administration said.
There is no information on the death toll, but several people were injured. They were hospitalised in local hospitals.
Local authorities urged residents to strictly follow safety rules and stay in shelters during air raid alerts.
