Auction to support animals
Chloe Zhao, a famous Hollywood director, has announced an auction on the Charitybuzz platform. Everyone can take part in the draw for the main prize - an online meeting with Zhao over a cup of tea.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the organisation Animal Rescue Kharkiv. This organisation is engaged in the evacuation and treatment of animals from the frontline areas of Kharkiv region.
Support for volunteers and a call for help
The director thanked everyone who joined the initiative. She stressed that during war, animals often become «invisible victims» and require special attention.
Zhao stressed the importance of supporting volunteer organisations that save the lives of animals in the war zone. She urged everyone to join the project and help animals together.

Animal Rescue Kharkiv is one of the largest animal rescue and treatment organisations in Kharkiv and the region. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the organisation has evacuated thousands of animals from the frontline areas.
The charity auction on Charitybuzz is part of a wider initiative to draw the world's attention to the problems of animals suffering from the war in Ukraine.
