Sikorsky expresses doubts about Ukraine's priority for the US
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslav Sikorsky expressed doubts that the United States continues to consider ending the war in Ukraine its key priority.
According to him, the conversation with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not give a clear answer to this question, which raised concerns about Washington's future strategic intentions.
Risks for Europe
Sikorsky stressed that it is the European states that face the greatest risks due to the war, as the fighting is taking place right next to the borders of the European Union.
In this context, he stressed the importance of preserving the unity of the allies and the continued support of Ukraine by Western partners.
The context of international support
The question of the US role in ending the war in Ukraine remains a key one for Europe's security architecture.
The latest diplomatic signals from Washington are closely monitored by NATO allies, as the scale of military, financial and political support for Kyiv largely depends on the US position.
