Due to damage to a power facility a large part of the peninsula is without electricity - In particular, Feodosia, Simferopol and the surrounding areas.
Apart from that, there are interruptions in mobile internet and communication, and in some regions there is no electricity supply at all.
The occupation authorities have traditionally claimed that «air defence works», but local sources confirm direct hit to the substation.
Large-scale fire and the aftermath
The fire at the Kafa substation took several hours to extinguish.
Fire crews are working at the scene, but the fire has spread to a large area.
