The Rada reacts to the scandal with blogger Bohdana Honcharuk
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy Daniil Getmantsev commented on the resonant situation around the blogger Bogdana Goncharuk, which has publicly stated that it has evaded taxes and received funds from Russia and Belarus.
According to the MP, if information about earnings of about $ 2 million and non-payment of taxes on at least UAH 70 million is confirmed, it may fall under the Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (tax evasion).
Possible qualification under the article on high treason
Hetmantsev also noted that if the fact of withdrawal of funds to the aggressor country actions may be additionally qualified under Article 111 of the CCU (high treason).
«I'm taking control of the situation. I am sorting it out. I will return,» the politician said.

The scandal around the blogger caused wide public response against the backdrop of increased state control over tax discipline and financial ties with Russia during the war.
Experts emphasise that the final legal assessment is possible only after an inspection by law enforcement agencies and establishing all the circumstances of the case.
