President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine, the United States and European partners have agreed to work at the level of advisers to make the path to peace «truly workable and effective». He said this after a conversation with US Vice President JD Vance and the US Secretary of the Army Henry Driscoll.

According to Zelenskyy, the conversation lasted about an hour, and the parties managed to discuss many details of the American proposal to end the war.

The President emphasised:

The Head of State emphasised that Ukraine had always respected the aspirations of President Donald Trump «to stop the bloodshed», and Kyiv is positive about all realistic offers, that can lead to a just peace.

«We have agreed to be in constant communication, and the teams are ready to work continuously,» Zelensky added.

The conversation was part of intensive diplomatic contacts ahead of a new round of talks on the US «peace plan». In parallel, European leaders are preparing their alternative proposal. Kyiv wants to maintain the unity of its partners and prevent steps that could weaken Ukraine's position.
