The scandal surrounding the Hospitallers: social media reports on possible misuse of donations
The scandal around the medical battalion is gaining momentum on social media Hospitallers. The authors of the investigation claim that part of the funds raised to help the military could have been misused.
We are talking about donations that were collected through banks and crypto wallets.
Fundraising scheme
According to the investigation, the funds were collected in two banks at once:
one was tied to the Hospitallers Foundation«
another to the founder and commander of the battalion Yana Zinkevich
The authors of the investigation note that during the day, money was regularly withdrawn from the jars: as soon as the amount accumulated to several tens of thousands of hryvnias, it was withdrawn.
Transfers via crypto wallets
The researchers also drew attention to the cryptocurrency addresses that were previously posted on the battalion's official website.
Subsequently, these addresses, according to them, began to disappear from the site, but users managed to record them. According to the authors of the investigation, about 210 thousand dollars, which is more than UAH 9 million.
Financial statements
It is noted that on the official website of the Hospitallers, the last published financial report is dated October 2025 and relates to the use of funds for 2024.
So far, the official position of the battalion or its representatives on the allegations has not been publicly voiced.
