18-year-old Kharkiv woman served suspicion notice in case of terrorist attack in Lviv
Law enforcement officers have served a notice of suspicion to an 18-year-old resident of Kharkiv, whom the investigation believes to be involved in luring police officers to the scene of a terrorist attack in Lviv. This was stated in the Office of the Prosecutor General. The court has already imposed a pre-trial restraint on her.
What the investigation found
According to law enforcement, before the explosion in the centre of Lviv, the girl called the police and reported an alleged robbery of a store.
Investigators claim that she was actually in Kharkiv and knew that the information was false.
Probable motive
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the suspect allegedly received the task via Telegram. She was promised a $100 reward for making the call, which, according to the investigation, she never received.
Court decision
The court imposed on the suspect a pre-trial restraint of 60 days in custody without the right to be released on bail.
Context.
As a reminder, a policewoman was killed and more than 20 people were injured in a terrorist attack in Lviv on 22 January.
