On 13 March, at around 11:00, near the village of Nyzhni Mlyny in Poltava Oblast 20 people attacked a warning group at a territorial recruitment centre (TCC). During the incident, tear gas was used, resulting in injuries to military and police personnel.

Circumstances of the attack on the territorial recruitment centre

According to the regional recruitment centre, the attackers tried to interfere with the work of the TCC alert group, which had arrived to conduct mobilisation activities. The incident took place at around 11:00 on 13 March near the village of Nyzhni Mlyny in Poltava region.

During the clash, tear gas was used, resulting in chemical burns to six law enforcement officers and military personnel. Law enforcement agencies responded quickly to restore order and ensure security.

Consequences of the attack and detention of the attackers

As a result of the incident, three soldiers and three police officers suffered chemical burns and were provided with the necessary medical care. The attackers were partially apprehended at the scene - law enforcement officers detained eight people.

Among the detainees, six are subject to mobilisation and are currently undergoing a military medical examination. Investigative authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the attack and the motives of the attackers.

Local authorities and law enforcement agencies stated that such actions, which impede the legitimate work of mobilisation centres, are unacceptable. They stressed the importance of maintaining law and order during the mobilisation process.
