Anatoliy Gorokhovsky, co-founder of monobank, was investigated for publishing the personal data of a bank client. Proceedings have been opened and an investigation into a possible violation of the legislation on the protection of personal data and banking secrecy has begun, the MP said. Alexander Lubinets.
Verification of monobank personal data
According to Lubinets, law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, including whether the law on personal data protection was violated. If the facts are confirmed, the perpetrators may be brought to justice in accordance with the current legislation.
Gorokhovsky's apology for publishing the data
Gorokhovsky personally apologised to the bank's clients, stating that «their personal data is fine and will always be so - this is our top priority». He added that he would be more careful about his statements and take more responsibility for data protection.
