Prosecutor's office requests Tymoshenko's arrest with alternative bail of UAH 50m
The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion with the court to impose a preventive measure on Yulia Tymoshenko in the form of detention with the option of bail in UAH 50 million.

According to the SAPO representative, in addition to bail, the prosecution also asks the court to impose a number of procedural obligations on the politician, in particular:
appear at every request of the investigation and the court;
not to leave the designated place of residence without permission;
refrain from communicating with other defendants in the case;
surrender their passports (if ordered by the court).
The court hearing on the motion is expected tomorrow.
Possible penalties
In case of proof of guilt Yulia Tymoshenko threatens 5 to 10 years' imprisonment with the possibility of confiscation of property, The SAPO notes.
