Territorial acquisition centres (TCC) in 2026 significantly increased the number of lawsuits against drivers. The goal is to restrict their rights due to violations of military registration. However, almost all cases do not reach court decisions.
The number of lawsuits has increased
According to Opendatabot, in 2026 TCC filed 135 lawsuits against drivers for restricting their rights due to violations of military registration. This figure has already exceeded the total number of cases for the whole of 2024.
Since the beginning of this year, 42 new cases have been opened. The highest number of lawsuits is recorded in Dnipropetrovska, Kyivska, Khmelnytska and Zhytomyrska oblasts.
Most cases hang up
92% of proceedings do not reach the consideration on the merits. The reasons are procedural mistakes on the part of the transfer pricing company or non-payment of the court fee.
The court delivered a judgement in only 11 cases. Of these, 10 were in favour of the TCC and 1 in favour of the driver.

TCCs file lawsuits to restrict drivers' rights if they violate the rules of military registration. The increase in the number of lawsuits came amid stricter control over persons liable for military service. Experts note that most cases do not come to a decision due to shortcomings in the preparation of documents.
