
Ukraine and the EU agree on a plan to end temporary protection for Ukrainians
The European Union and the Ukrainian side have started work on gradual termination of the temporary protection regime, which has been in force for Ukrainian citizens since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

After the end of this regime, Ukrainians will have to:
apply for other types of residence permits (working, educational, humanitarian, etc.), or
return to Ukraine, If they do not have legal grounds to remain in the EU.
