Transition to a new management system

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have completed the reform and fully switched to housing structure command and control of troops. The Ministry of Defence said this, stressing that the changes will bring the Armed Forces closer to NATO standards and increase the effectiveness of command.

What does the enclosure structure mean

The corps system involves the merger of several divisions and brigades into a single command - an army corps. This allows for quicker decision-making, increases troop mobility and simplifies interaction between different branches of the armed forces.

According to military experts, this model makes it possible to conduct large-scale operations more efficiently and strengthens Ukraine's defence capabilities.

Context.

The transition to a corps structure is part of a comprehensive reform of the Armed Forces that has been underway since 2022. Ukraine is coordinating all key steps with NATO partners to ensure interoperability of command systems and joint operations.
