Ballistic attack in Dnipro region: at least 8 killed, 6 missing and dozens wounded
At least 8 dead, 6 missing persons and about 40 wounded - such preliminary data after of a Russian ballistic missile strike on the Dnipro region.
This is reported by the Public, quoting one of the soldiers who was at the scene.
«It was a solemn event with bonfires and torches at two locations. No reconnaissance drones were flying, Someone just “leaked” us”. Russia struck 15 minutes after it started. I was standing 100 metres away from the arrival and miraculously survived,» the fighter said.
According to him, after the ballistic missile attack, the enemy also attacked Shahed kamikaze drones“.
«The dead bodies were lying there until the morning. People need to know the truth. This is the negligence of the command, because the alarm was already sounded, but no one gave an order to evacuate at least within a 10-km radius,» he added.
Circumstances of the attack: explosion during the award ceremony
According to preliminary data, the attack took place during the military award ceremony.
The blast wave destroyed infrastructure facilities, damaged tents, service vehicles and equipment.
Rescuers are working at the site, clearing the rubble and searching for the missing.
The location of the incident is not yet officially disclosed for security reasons.

The Dnipro regional administration has not yet released official figures on the number of victims.
A spokesperson for the «East» operational command said. the circumstances of the incident are being investigated, In particular, the issue of security during events.
