Ukraine to make a film about the Kursk operation for UAH 2.3 million

The film about the special operation of the Ukrainian military in the territory of the Russian Federation (5-6 August 2024) is to be produced by 20 December 2025.

According to the publication «Glavkom», the State Enterprise “Centre for the Protection of Information Space of Ukraine” entered into an agreement with an individual entrepreneur Olga Nikitina for the production of a documentary film called «How the Cossacks went to Kursk Region».

The budget of the film is UAH 2.3 million.
The plot is based on a lightning-fast military operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which began in Russia on 6 August 2024.


Timing and production

The project must be completed until 20 December 2025.
Government agencies are involved in the production, and a sole proprietor is also involved, who is responsible for all stages of the film's creation - from script to post-production.

Documentaries on military topics have a high public profile - they not only record historical events, but also serve as a means of informational and patriotic work.
