Britain and France provide Ukraine with missiles and fighter jets to strengthen its air defence
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer announced the granting of the 5000 new missiles to strengthen air defence systems ahead of winter.
«Ukraine must remain secure in the most difficult months ahead. We will continue to supply everything it needs to keep its skies safe,» the British Prime Minister said.
The missiles are designed for medium- and short-range systems that protect energy infrastructure and large cities from Russian drone and missile attacks.
France steps up military aviation support
President of France Emmanuel Macron said that his country would transfer to Ukraine a new batch of Mirage fighters, as well as Aster anti-aircraft missiles for systems SAMP/T, The company has already deployed the system in Ukraine.
