Drones attack energy facilities in Russia's deep rear
Substation, CHP plant and oil refinery hit - Russian sources report large-scale fires
On the night of 31 October, drones struck a series of precise blows on important energy and industrial facilities in Russia.
▪️ 750 kV substation near the city of Volodymyr, it was hit several times, and a large-scale fire broke out at the site of the explosions, which is being extinguished by dozens of rescuers.
▪️ In the city Eagle a drone attack led to explosions at a local thermal power plant. Residents report at least three detonations and power outages.
▪️ У Yaroslavl The Slavneft-Yanos oil refinery was hit. According to preliminary information, a fire was reported on the territory of one of the production shops.
Reaction of the Russian Ministry of Defence
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that on that night, there were allegedly 130 drones were shot down, However, independent OSINT analysts have recorded numerous hits and confirmed damage to several energy infrastructure facilities.
