Ukraine's power system remains under strain
Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grinchuk said that despite the partial stabilisation of the power system, It is currently impossible to completely abandon blackouts.
According to her, outage schedules remain necessary to carry out restoration and repair work after massive attacks on energy infrastructure.
Alternative energy sources are being deployed in the regions
To ease the situation, the regions have already install additional power supplies and small block modular boiler houses.
This will allow us to provide critical infrastructure and the population with heat and electricity even in the event of prolonged consumption restrictions.
Hrynchuk stressed that power engineers are working around the clock to restore stability to the system, but the repair processes require safe conditions and a reduction in the load on the grid.
