Government develops algorithm to limit gas supplies in case of new Russian attacks

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that the government has approved algorithm of actions in case of repeated massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
The document provides for a mechanism for phased restriction of natural gas supplies in the event of critical damage to energy generation or transmission facilities.

How the algorithm will work

According to the Ministry of Energy, the new system will allow Respond promptly to energy risks and avoid a complete shutdown of critical sectors.
They will remain a priority:

• hospitals, water supply facilities, and heating plants;

• defence and communications infrastructure;

• residential buildings in regions with low temperatures.
