The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the draft law in the first reading, which allows you to receive a land plot free of charge Citizens whose housing or other property was destroyed as a result of the war. This is reported by the RBC-Ukraine.
Who can exercise the right
The draft law provides that Citizens who lost their property due to Russian aggression, will be entitled to receive a land plot from the state free of charge.
The land will be allocated to within the limits of free privatisation, provided for by the Land Code.
«This is one of the ways to support Ukrainians who have lost their homes and create conditions for housing reconstruction,» the explanatory note to the draft law says.
Effect of the law
The rule will be in force during martial law і for another 5 years after its cancellation.
