A representative of the TCC was attacked in Uman while checking on people liable for military service

In the city Uman a representative of the territorial recruitment and social support centre was attacked. The incident was reported by Cherkasy Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support.

According to official information, the TCC servicemen were checking military registration documents. At that moment, they were approached by a man who behaved aggressively, after which they were attacked with a knife.

Condition of the victim

According to the CCC, the wounded serviceman survived - the injuries did not affect critical vessels. He was promptly provided with medical assistance and taken to hospital.

He is currently under medical supervision and receiving the necessary treatment.

Actions of law enforcement agencies

Other representatives of the TCC who were at the scene immediately detained the attacker and handed him over to the police.

Law enforcement agencies opened criminal proceedings. The man may face liability under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.

Military registration checks

The MCC and the JV carry out checks of military records within the framework of the current legislation. The agency emphasises the inadmissibility of violent acts against servicemen and calls on citizens to resolve all disputes exclusively in the legal field.
