
Saratov Oil Refinery, UAV depot at Saki airfield and other military facilities hit - General Staff
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on large-scale damage several important Russian military infrastructure facilities - from the Saratov region to the occupied Crimea and Donbas.
Saratov refinery: explosions and fire
On Saratov Oil Refinery, which produces more than 20 types of fuel for the Russian army, was recorded series of explosions, fire spread. Process facilities are likely to be damaged.
It is one of Russia's largest refineries, supplying fuel to military units in the Southern and Central Districts.
Saki airfield: UAV hangar and air defence equipment destroyed
In Crimea, at the airfield «Saki», Several important targets were hit at once:
hangar with Orion and Forpost UAVs«;
command and control centre;
a KamAZ military truck«;
Pantsir-S1 and TOR-M2 air defence systems«.
This airfield is used by the Russians as one of the key bases for the deployment of drones and aircraft operating against Ukraine.
Strikes in Donetsk and Luhansk regions
The temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts were affected:
places of concentration of personnel,
fuel and lubricant warehouses,
other logistical support facilities for Russian troops.
Such strikes significantly complicate the enemy's logistics and combat operations on the front line.
Context.
The defence forces continue to systematically disable Russian oil refineries, fuel depots, air bases and UAV bases to weaken the enemy's logistical capabilities and reduce the intensity of missile and drone attacks in Ukraine.
