
UAH 6500 for vulnerable categories: government launches new support programme
The Government of Ukraine has approved a new a targeted programme of financial support for the most vulnerable categories of the population.
Payments in the amount of 6500 hryvnias are provided for:
orphans and children under guardianship;
children with disabilities in foster care;
internally displaced children;
IDPs with disabilities;
single pensioners.
How payments will be made
Funds will be credited to automatically through the Pension Fund of Ukraine, without the need to submit additional applications or documents.
“We are committed to providing real help to those who need it most, without unnecessary bureaucracy,” the government said.
When the programme starts and what you can spend the money on
The programme will start working in early December 2025.
The 6500 hryvnias received will be used to Use it for medicines, clothes, shoes and other essential needs.
The Ministry of Social Policy informs that payments will be made in cooperation with Pension Fund and local social security authorities.
Context.
This is the second large-scale social programme from the government after the ePidtrymka initiative.
Now the state is focusing on long-term assistance to the most vulnerable Ukrainians, including children, IDPs and people with disabilities.
