Explosion of a charging station in an apartment in the centre of Kyiv: there are evacuees

A charging station exploded in an apartment on the fourth floor of an 11-storey residential building on Kudryavsky Descent in Kyiv. The explosion was accompanied by heavy smoke and a local fire.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene promptly.

Rescuers reported that they managed to get out of the neighbouring apartment two people, including a child. There were no casualties.

The fire was extinguished, and the circumstances of the charging station explosion are being investigated.
